The service provides alerts for severe storms, flooding and other events to ensure you are kept informed and allow you to take the appropriate steps to protect your family and home.

Severe weather in Brisbane includes:

• severe thunderstorms with hail and destructive winds
• cyclones
• floodings from a number of different sources including creek, river and king tides.
• public safety alerts

Alerts can be received by email, SMS and voice message.
