Tropical Cyclone Alfred is forecast to bring heavy to locally intense rainfall and damaging to destructive wind gusts to southeast Queensland from Wednesday as Alfred approaches the coast. Watch and Act. Prepare your property now. Remain alert to emerging weather patterns by monitoring the Bureau of Meteorology website at www.bom.gov.au and local media. Make all necessary preparations for possible severe weather impacts, by clearing your yards and gutters, trimming loose tree branches, and secure loose items that could become dangerous during high winds. Residents are urged to clean up their properties ahead of possible severe weather.
